Connections

In my English 42/43 class we learn about all different types of exciting topics. i really like when we talk about connections. making a connection to something else helps us better understand a topic more precise.

Self-Respect

The on course book is a great learning tool that can help enhance or learn basic strategies that many can learn from. i read this book in my Personal Growth class Ms Margie, is an excellent professor. I like her class by the way. I not only read the book because its assigned for her students, but because I want to become cautiously  aware of these helpful tools one lesson that i really liked was Developing self-respect. I think that one is a biggie. self-respect plays a big role on ones self weather they value their self or not.

Cliffhangers

 I recently, in class learned about Cliffhanger. A cliffhanger is a suspenseful situation occurring at the end of a chapter, scene, or episode. This usually leave the reader, or audience guessing as to what happens next. I find cliffhangers enjoyable, because as I watch a movie, I watch the previous first, to determine if the movie is actually  worth paying for. If the movie is worth my spendings, then obviously the cliffhanger grabs my attention as to what else is going to take place next in the movie.

My Strengths

Taking the strength finders test was beneficial to me, especially because I found out some of my strengths that I wasn't even aware of. MY strengths include; Adaptability, consistency, Relator, command, and deliberative. These traits represents me. I recommend taking the Strengths finder test to gain insight on your areas of strengths.

Music has a tremendous impact in the world today. The most populated is the music that doesn't necessarily have any meaning. for example artist such as  lady gaga, Drake,Lil Wayne,Tyga Beyonce, Rhianna. To me music isn't music unless it has meaning.




India Arie, is a young black artist. who's music impact peoples lives. she makes songs, that actually help women overcome their obstacles. Her music is just so powerful. my favorite song by her I would say is Because I am a Queen  In this song she express her self thoroughly, she speaks that she is her own person, and doesn't care what people think. she is Free to do what ever.

Why Smile?

Just one smile can- change your whole day. One way to start off your day is to smile, and remember everyday is a different day to enjoy life. This songs gets me through my day, when I'm feeling down. Im sharing this information with you maybe, because you never really took the time to smile and let go of all your problems. But I'm here tol encourage you to smile, be happy, and free.

Lesson worth knowing

If i could choose a lesson worth knowing I would say, learning/relearning the parts of speeches. I think over the years I forgot some parts of speech, but not completly. Relearning the material was great, somethings I didnt know and others I remembered like, different types of verbs linking,helping,compound, and action. I never really understood the differences between each. But now i know them prefectly.
